Royal Mail and Parcelforce services to Europe and International destinations have been reopened and are now fully operational.
Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) wishes to advise its customers in the south of the island that starting on Monday January 4th 2021, the Southern Delivery Office in Ronaldsway Industrial Estate will temporarily return to provide customers with a parcel collection facility. This follows the decision of the current provider in Castletown - S&S Motors not to renew their contract.
Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) wishes to remind customers that from 1st January 2021, there will be changes to the way they can send goods to international destinations, due to a Universal Postal Union and World Customs Organisation-led initiative to improve security and safety.
Further to Monday's (21.12.20) announcement about the suspension of all postal services to Europe (excluding the Republic of Ireland), Turkey and Canada, we are recommending that customers DO NOT mail items to international destinations due to significant delays.
Due to Royal Mail and Parcelforce suspending all postal services to Europe, Turkey and Canada; Isle of Man Post Office is also having to suspend services to these destinations with immediate effect as all our mail for international destinations is delivered through these mail partners. No items for these destinations will be accepted.
Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) is continuing to work hard to deliver its customers’ parcels in time for Christmas, amidst the challenges in the UK of exceptional high volumes of parcels, and the significantly increased uptake of online shopping this year. This is a challenge for all UK logistics companies.
