The Isle of Man Post Office has joined up with artist, fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and WW2 veteran, Isle of Man based James Fenton to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of VE and VJ Day with a miniature sheet.

The Post Office is pleased to commemorate the centenary of World War I (WWI) in support of the Royal British Legion by presenting its latest stamp issue which surveys a wide geographical range of battle scenes.

Isle of Man Post Office has collaborated with the German Post Office to produce a set of stamps and a specially minted coin to mark the centenary of the Christmas Day truce in the 1914-18 war.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Sir Winston Churchill, Isle of Man Post Office has produced a set of eight evocative stamps celebrating the life of the man once voted ‘Greatest Briton’.

On August 15, the centenary of the Panama Canal, the British Embassy of Panama City and Her Majesty´s Ambassador presented Jorge Quijano, the Chief Executive Officer of the Panama Canal Authority with a professionally framed Isle of Man Post Office Panama Canal miniature sheet cover and presentation pack, kindly donated by the Post Office to celebrate the 100th anniversary.
