The Post Office officially unveiled its special 50 year anniversary postmark cover at the launch of the 'Peels to Peel' Festival which took place on the morning of August 1st from outside of Regent Street Post Office.
Isle of Man Post Office is celebrating the 50 year anniversary of the Peel Engineering P50 and Trident with a special edition postmark cover limited to just 500 hand numbered items, and will also be participating in the ‘Peels to Peel Festival’ launch event, organised by Peel Car owners and enthusiasts in partnership with The Manx Transport Museum. The opening for the event will be held on the 1st of August from outside of the Post Office’s Regent Street branch at 9.15am. The Festival runs until 4th of August.
A specially minted, limited edition, medallion commemorating the centenary of the outbreak of World War 1 has been produced by Isle of Man Stamps and Coins. A percentage of the proceeds from sales will go to the Isle of Man branch of the Royal British Legion. The medallion, which is available in a presentation box with a commemorative stamp, pays tribute to all of the Manx men and women involved in the conflict. Only 750 medallions have been made. On one side it bears the inscription 'Lest we forget – The Great War 1914-1918' – and on the other '2014 – The Manx nation remembers'.
Isle of Man Stamps and Coins is delighted to present a special postmark cover, limited to just 100 editions, to mark the Centenary of the Southern District Agricultural Society and showcase the work of the Manx Ark Project.

Isle of Man Post Office has produced a miniature sheet that marks the Centenary of the Panama Canal, the incredible feats of the civil engineers tasked with its creation and a series of achievements exemplified by the passage of Cunard's Queen Elizabeth through the world famous waterway. The sheet is due for launch on 8th of August.
Isle of Man Stamps and Coins has another ace up its sleeve with its latest collectors stamp issue this time based upon the history of Manx themed playing cards. Due for release on the 8th of August, this issue features six fascinating, full colour stamps.
