Isle of Man Post Office is delighted to present a heart-warming set of Christmas stamps sure to melt even the iciest of characters. Based on The Snowman and The Snowdog, the magical sequel to Raymond Briggs' classic The Snowman, the stamps are due for release on the 23rd of October 2014.
This set of stunning stamps brings to life the much loved characters that have become part of everyone's Christmas that bring so much joy to children of all ages.
The sequel to The Snowman, The Snowman and The Snowdog reunites viewers with the beloved Snowman in a brand new adventure with a new set of friends. The critically acclaimed sequel marked the 30th Anniversary of the original when it was originally aired in 2012.
This set of six stamps captures the magic and excitement of the most memorable moments from the film.
The stamps reflect Raymond Briggs' hand drawn illustrative style and the soft colour palette used in The Snowman and The Snowdog. These beautiful stamps make a perfect Christmas addition to adorn an outgoing Christmas card, as well as making the perfect Christmas gift. The stamps include images of Father Christmas, The Snowman and The Snowdog and of course Billy - the boy that brings both The Snowman and The Snowdog to life.
