Laxey Sub Postmistress Mary Palmer, has announced that she will operate Laxey Post Office on amended opening hours in the new year:
Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday: 9.00am – 1pm
Wednesday: 10.00am – 1pm 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Thursday: 9.00am – 1pm
Friday: 9.00am – 1pm 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
“The decision to reduce opening hours has not been taken lightly”, says Sub Postmistress Mary Palmer. She continues “It is a necessary step to ensure a continued service.”
Mary Gaffney, General Manager Retail and Customer Services added: “We are committed to working closely with our partners to provide viable services that meet communities’ changing needs. The change in operating hours will allow quality services to continue at times which best serve the community.”
The new opening hours will be operated as of 3rd January 2022.
