Isle of Man Post Office wishes to advise customers of Castletown post office that there will be minimal disruption caused during the refurbishment of the Co-op store in which the office is housed.
The refit of the Co-op will commence on Wednesday 9th March and is expected to be completed by Friday 18th March. Throughout this time the convenience store will be closed to the public, however the post office area will remain open. There will however be some changes to the opening hours of the post office on the following dates to allow the refurbishment work to take place for health and safety reasons:
• Wednesday 9th March - the office will close at 3pm
• Thursday 10th March – the office will open at 11am
• Friday 11th March – the office will open at 11am
During the refurbishment, the collection of notice left items (mail and parcels) will be suspended. In this instance customers will be required to collect any items they have missed for delivery from the Southern Delivery Office in Ronaldsway Industrial Estate, Ballasalla between the hours of 07.30 – 18.00 Monday to Friday and 07.30 – 12.30 on Saturdays. Alternatively, customers can arrange for the item to be re-delivered to another day by telephoning the Southern Delivery Office on 698571 or by visiting our website www.iompost.com/redelivery/
Isle of Man Post Office is working closely with the Manx Co-operative Society to ensure any disruption to post office customers is kept to a minimum.
