Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) launched a new enhancement to their Collection service. Customers who receive a notice left card at their homes can log onto IOMPO’s website www.iompost.com/redelivery and choose a convenient location from one of nine Island-wide sites to collect items from and will now receive an SMS/text notification to advise when their item(s) are ready to collect. Many collection sites provide extended opening hours which suits our customers who prefer to collect their items after 5pm and on the weekends.
Within the past two weeks every household on the Island received an information leaflet to notify the public about the enhanced service along with information about where they can find postal services in their community.
Geoff Rickard, General Manager for Mails, said, “We are always striving to improve our customer’s experience and are looking to increase the number of parcel collection locations. This enhancement to our Collection service gives more flexibility for customers to determine the most convenient options for them should they miss a delivery”.
