Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) is pleased to announce the achievement of its ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, making IOMPO one of the first businesses on Island to achieve this standard. It is a globally recognised standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It provides businesses of any size and from all sectors of activity with guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving information security management systems. Adhering to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 signifies that IOMPO has established a system to handle risks associated with data security, ensuring alignment with the best practices and principles.
IOMPO also successfully renewed its ISO 9001:2015 certification, a globally recognised standard for quality management systems. It outlines seven quality management principles, including a strong customer focus and continual improvement.
