Post Office Provides Vital Link Between the Island and the World

Protecting the health and safety of its people and customers in the communities in which it serves is Isle of Man Post Office’s (IOMPO) primary concern, in the bid to reduce the spread of Coronavirus Covid-19 on the Island.

William Wordsworth’s 250th Birthday Celebrated by Isle of Man Post Office

On 7th April 2020 the Isle of Man Post Office celebrates the 250th anniversary of the birth of William Wordsworth, one of Britain’s best-known romantic poets of all time, by releasing a wonderful six stamp collection. These beautiful stamps capture the essence and the appearance of the Island at the time of Wordsworth’s visit to the Island in 1833, and are presented through period paintings chosen in relation to the Manx scenes discussed in Wordsworth’s sonnets that were inspired by the Isle of Man.

Post Office Announce its Easter Operations

With the Easter weekend quickly approaching, Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) would like to advise its customers of changes to operations and opening times over this period.

Post Office Counter in Ballasalla to Close on Saturday

Due to a request from the sub postmaster for an earlier termination of the contract, Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) wishes to advise customers that the Ballasalla Post Office counter will close with effect from tomorrow (Saturday).

End of an Era for Sulby Sub Postmaster

Following a consultation with business partners and local stakeholder groups in the area, Isle of Man Post Office (IOMPO) has confirmed that it will not seek a replacement sub postmaster in Sulby when the current one steps down on 27th March 2020 and closes his retail premises.
