On Good Friday (30th March), mail will be delivered as normal, however there will be no evening collections. All post offices across the network will be closed for this bank holiday, although the Customer Services Suite at Post Office Headquarters will be open from 07:00 - 12:30, providing all post office services.
Northern Delivery Office will be open 06:00 - 12:30 and Southern Delivery Office will be open 07:30 - 12:30.
On Easter Saturday (31st March) there will be no mail deliveries and the Customer Service Suite at Post Office Headquarters will be closed, however all post offices will be open as normal and operating their usual Saturday hours.
On Easter Monday (2nd April) there will be no deliveries or collections and all post offices will be closed. All deliveries and post offices will revert back to normal service on Tuesday 3rd April.
Our network of kiosks will be online all weekend, where you can buy postage and pay bills and government rent at your convenience if your post office is closed.
Pensions and allowances due for payment on Friday 30th March and Monday 2nd April can be collected Thursday 29th March.
The guarantees for items sent on Thursday 29th March (before the cut off time*) using next-day delivery Special Delivery, Parcelforce next day and 48 hour services will be as follows:
