On Wednesday 9th July 1947, King George VI and the Queen made the long awaited announcement of the 'betrothal of their dearly beloved daughter, Princess Elizabeth, to Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten RN'.
On Thursday 20th November 1947, The wedding of Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh took place at Westminister Abbey in London.
On Monday 20th November 2017, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
These limited edition (625 of each design) proof-like coins commemorate the platinum wedding. Available individually or as a complete set at a discounted price. All our proof like editions have sold out quickly and this will be no exception!
With only 625 available this collection of eight PROOF-LIKE coins will be presented in a specially made folder worthy of a royal collection and complimented with a free presentation pack from the Platinum Wedding collection.
Each coin is encapsulated in its own bespoke card, featuring an image from the day of the occasion. This wonderful collectable is complete with a signed certificate of authenticity and moving issue text by Dickie Arbiter.
