A much loved annual release from Isle of Man Stamps and Coins, the 2020 Christmas Card and Coin features intricate artwork from our 'Charles Dickens 150' issue, as well as an official legal tender uncirculated circulating £2 coin from the 'A Christmas Carol' series.
The coin housed within the card beautifully depicts the Ghost of Christmas Present, who is also pictured on the front of the card through the original 'A Christmas Carol' illustrations by artist John Leech, published in volume I of the novel in 1843. To the bottom of the card are the words 'Nollick Ghennal', Merry Christmas in Manx.
The Victoriana inspired book jacket design of this card makes it an authentic collectors piece, perfectly partnering a stamp and coin.
The card is strictly limited to only 500 examples worldwide, with each item individually numbered. It comes complete with a certificate of authenticity by Julie M. Edge MHK CMgr, MCMI, Chairman of Isle of Man Post Office.
