Job Description

The Mails Operation is seeking to recruit a permanent part-time Indoor Post Person to its Processing Shift working 12 hours per week.  The working pattern for this role is Thursday, Friday, Sunday (6pm to 10pm)

This role will be principally responsible for the operation of our mail sortation machinery ensuring that the mail is sequenced ready for delivery. Other indoor mail duties may also be undertaken.

Duties include:

• Operation of mail sortation machinery
• sorting and preparing of mail items
• lifting and moving mail items up to 30kg each

The rate of pay for this role is £13.67 per hour rising to £14.02, with eligibility to join the pension scheme.
